At the same time, Virat also completed 6000 runs in IPL. At the same time, he also made the 40th FIFTY in the league. After scoring 51 runs, Virat became the first batsman of the league to do so. He has scored 6021 runs in 196 matches so far.

This is Bengaluru's third consecutive win over Rajasthan. Earlier last season, Bengaluru defeated RR in 2 consecutive matches. This is RCB's fourth consecutive win this season. With this, the team has come first in the points table.

Padikkal had scored 473 runs last season.

This was Padikkal's first century in the league. Prior to this, he had placed 5 FIFTY in IPL. Padikkal was the highest run-scorer in Bengaluru last season. He scored 473 runs in 15 matches in 2020 at a strike rate of 124.80.

Dubey and Teotia lead RR to good total

Shivam Dubey scored the highest innings of 46 runs for RR. Having lost 4 wickets for 43 runs, Shivam teamed up with Ryan Parag. Both shared a 66-run partnership for the 5th wicket. After this, Rahul Tewatia played a quick innings of 40 runs off 23 balls to lead Rajasthan to a respectable total.

Samson fails for third consecutive match

RR captain Sanju Samson failed for the third match in a row. He scored 119 runs off 63 balls in the first match of the season against Punjab. Since then, Samson has not been able to do anything special in 3 matches. After Punjab, he scored 4 runs against Delhi, 1 against Chennai and 21 runs today.

Samson has not been a consultant since 2018

Consistency has been a problem with Samson since 2018. From 2018 till now, his batting average is above 60 in the first 3 matches of every season. It then falls to 28 for the rest of the tournament.
