The Indian film industry is in mourning following the demise of veteran Bollywood producer and former Chairman of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), Pahlaj Nihalani. At the age of 76, the renowned filmmaker breathed his last at his residence in Mumbai. According to reports, he was admitted to the Nanavati Hospital in Vile Parle, Mumbai, where he underwent treatment for nearly 28 days. His condition required intensive medical care during this month-long hospitalization. Although he was discharged from the hospital just a few days ago and had returned to his home, his health remained fragile. He eventually passed away at his residence, surrounded by the memories of a prolific career. The news of his unfortunate demise was confirmed by his close family friend and former associate, Shashi Shekhar.
