Rajnath Singh Statement: US Defense Minister Lloyd Austin met National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval on Monday. During this, both the people discussed the defense relations between America and India. Before meeting the NSA, the US Defense Minister also spoke to Rajnath Singh. During this, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh bluntly said that America should not give arms to Pakistan, because it is not trustworthy. Actually, America has been supplying weapons to Pakistan.

Information has been shared regarding the meeting of Defense Minister Lloyd Austin and NSA Ajit Doval. It states that Austin and Doval discussed cooperation to enhance capabilities by performing brilliantly in the maritime, military and aerospace domains. Lloyd Austin stressed on maximum transfer of technology, co-production and indigenous capabilities in line with India's 'Make in India' and 'Self-reliant India' initiatives.

Decision should be taken on the basis of national priorities

In the meeting, the US Secretary of Defense and the NSA agreed that countries in the Middle East, South Asia, South East Asia and the Indo-Pacific should maintain freedom of action according to their national priorities. He should not be forced to choose any bad option.

Don't trust Pakistan on arms issue: Rajnath Singh

Focus on reliable sources of supply, flexible supply chains and greater industry partnerships between the two countries. Lloyd and NSA Doval agreed that a strategic approach to global challenges should be adopted through whole of government efforts including people-to-people and social relations.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh warned the US Defense Minister that Pakistan cannot be trusted with weapons. Pakistan is not trustworthy in this matter. Pakistan is already infamous for misuse of weapons and technology. If arms are supplied to him, it can lead to instability in the entire region.
