BCCI vs PCB: The atmosphere between the Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has been hot for the last few months regarding the Asia Cup 2023. The BCCI has already made it clear that the Indian team will not go to Pakistan if this year's Asia Cup is played in Pakistan. A meeting has also taken place between the two boards regarding this issue. Meanwhile, the PCB chief has made a big disclosure. He has told that if Pakistan does not play the Asia Cup this year, they will suffer a loss of crores of rupees.

What did the PCB chief say

Pakistan Cricket Board Chief Najam Sethi has said that if they do not play the Asia Cup this year, there could be a loss of around $ 3 million in earnings from the tournament. Sethi said Pakistan was ready to bear the loss as it was a matter of principle. He said, "We have clearly stated that if the Asia Cup is not held on a hybrid basis (India's matches at other venues and the remaining matches in Pakistan), then we will not accept any other schedule and will not play."

Nothing clear yet

Pakistan is to host the Asia Cup in September but there is no clarity yet on the venue of the tournament as India has made it clear that it will not play in Pakistan. Sethi said that "security is no longer an issue for India and we have told them that if the government is not giving permission to play in Pakistan, then show us the written proof."

He said, "When other teams including Australia, England, New Zealand are ready to play in Pakistan, then there should be no security issue for India to come to Pakistan." not done.
