India-Pakistan War: Pakistan is currently going through a serious security crisis. The drone attacks in many major cities of the country on Thursday have exposed its air security system. These attacks in strategically important cities like Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi have not only created panic among the common citizens, but have also raised questions on the working style of the army and the government.

Major attack in three major cities

The most serious situation was in Rawalpindi, where a large army camp was completely destroyed in a drone attack near the army headquarters. Three big explosions took place near the Navy base in Lahore, while a drone explosion in Karachi created panic in the entire area. This attack is considered very sensitive because Karachi is Pakistan's nuclear weapons storage center.

Panic due to attacks in 12 cities

So far, there have been reports of drone attacks in 12 cities including Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Chakwal, Ghotki. According to Pakistani media, a total of 25 drone attacks have taken place, including 12 major explosions. These attacks have created emergency-like conditions within Pakistan.

Air defense system completely failed

These attacks have exposed the weakness of Pakistan's air defense system. The air security system completely failed to stop the attacks. Surprisingly, just a day before, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif had praised the Air Force in Parliament. He claimed that the Pakistan Air Force is ready to deal with every threat.

But these attacks the very next day belied the Prime Minister's claims. After the attacks, the Air Force Chief held an emergency meeting with Army Chief Asim Munir, from which the seriousness of the situation can be gauged.

Who is responsible?

So far the Pakistan government has not been able to clarify where these drones came from. No terrorist organization or foreign power has taken responsibility for these attacks. This mystery creates more concern, because the country's security agencies have neither clear information nor any concrete answer.

This series of drone attacks has become a symbol of the failure of Pakistan's defense preparedness and intelligence agencies. The way the blast took place in a high-security area like Karachi proved that the country's security has been seriously breached.
