Sydney: In this era of Coronavirus Pandemic, cricket, along with other sports, has been greatly affected. Due to having a quarantine before every tour, cricketers have to devise new ways for fitness.

Use of towels in quarantine

Australian bowlers have been asked to use Room Towel to maintain the strength of their arms during lockdown and quarantine. With no cricket for a month before heading to the West Indies for the Test series, the Australian team is finding new ways, including using towels to stay fit during this phase.

Ball towel

Pat Cummins said on his YouTube channel, our trainer sent us a video. One training for us is to try to maintain our throwing in lockdown. Cummins said, you get a hand towel or a small towel and you tie a knot at the end of it. This 9th knot looks almost like a cricket ball and you bowl in your room. This keeps your throwing ability. '

Players have been quarantine for a long time

Pat Cummins is one of several Australian players who have been in quarantine after arriving from India via Maldives following the postponement of IPL 2021 earlier this month. Players, including star players David Warner and Steve Smith, are locked in hotel rooms in Sydney. However, they are following their training schedule.
