G-20 Summit / PM Modi and Joe Biden will meet tomorrow, these issues can be discussed

G-20 Summit: US President Joe Biden is coming to New Delhi tomorrow to participate in the G-20 Summit. He will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi only tomorrow. The Prime Minister is also likely to hold separate bilateral meetings with Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina and Prime Minister of Mauritius Pravind Jugnauth on Friday.

Biden's first visit to India as President

US President Biden is coming to New Delhi to attend the G20 Summit to be held on 9-10 September. This will be his first visit to India as the President of America. Earlier, the last US President to visit India was Donald Trump, who visited India in February 2020. Biden is scheduled to arrive in New Delhi on Friday evening and will leave for Vietnam on Sunday after the conclusion of the G20 summit.

A source said that talks between Prime Minister Modi and President Biden are likely to focus on reviewing ongoing bilateral cooperation in various key areas including clean energy, defense and high technology, defence. The two sides may also discuss further liberalization of the visa regime.

Prior to President Biden's departure for India, White House Press Secretary Karen Jean-Pierre said, "We commend Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his leadership of the G20 this year, and we are committed to helping ensure that It is our hope that India hosts a successful summit this year.
