PM Narendra Modi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the 3-day All India Conference of Directors General of Police (DGP) and Inspectors General, which began on Friday, on Saturday and Sunday. The conference, to be held from January 20 to 22, will be in a hybrid format. This conference is being organized at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute located in Pusa, capital Delhi. The conference will discuss issues including cyber crime, war on drugs, challenges of combating terrorism and left wing extremism, among many others.

PM has been taking keen interest in DGP conference

This conference is being organized through digital medium. In this, about 100 delegates including DGPs of States and Union Territories, heads of Central Armed Forces and Central Police Organizations will directly attend the conference, while the rest will join the digital medium. The PMO said that since 2014 the Prime Minister has been taking keen interest in the DGPs Conference and sits in all the key sessions of the Conference unlike the token presence of earlier Prime Ministers.
