PM Modi Canada Visit / PM Modi will visit Canada for two days, will travel to this country too

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to Cyprus, Canada and Croatia from 15 to 19 June. He will participate in the G-7 Summit in Canada and discuss global issues. This will be his sixth appearance. Croatia trip will be the first visit to an Indian PM, which will strengthen bilateral relations.

PM Modi Canada Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will leave on important foreign trip to three countries in June 2025. The yatra will be held from June 15 to 19, in which PM Modi will visit Cyprus, Canada and Croatia. During this time he will also attend the G-7 summit held in Canada.

Cyprus will start traveling with Cyprus

PM Modi's visit will start from Cyprus on 15 June, where he will participate in bilateral discussions on 15 and 16 June. The purpose of this journey is to give new direction to India-sprus relations and deepen partnership in areas such as investment, technology and defense cooperation.

G-7 summit and new relationships start in Canada

After Cyprus, Prime Minister Modi will visit Canada on 16 and 17 June. He will attend the G-7 summit held in Kananaskis at the invitation of Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney. This summit will be the sixth consecutive G-7 participation of Prime Minister Modi.

At the conference, he will communicate with G-7 leaders and heads of other invited countries on global issues like energy security, artificial intelligence, quantum technology and innovation. Along with this, many bilateral meetings are also proposed.

This journey is also special because in September 2023, there was a serious tension between former Canadian PM Justin Trudeau and India over the Khalistani issue. Following Trudeau's allegations, the sourness in India-Canada relations is now moving towards a new beginning under the leadership of Carney.

Historical visit to Croatia

On June 18, Prime Minister Modi will reach Croatia. This will be the first official visit of any Indian Prime Minister to Croatia, which is considered a milestone in the Indo-Croatia bilateral relations. PM Modi will meet Croatia's Prime Minister Andrez Plankovic and President Joran Milanovik here.
