Mahakumbh 2025 / PM Modi will visit Maha Kumbh on 5th February, will take a holy dip in Sangam

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take a dip in the Sangam at the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh on February 5. He will worship the Ganga and pray for the prosperity of the countrymen. The Prime Minister will reach the Maha Kumbh at 10 am and will go to Sangam by Nishadraj Cruise. In Kumbh 2019, he gave the message of social harmony by washing the feet of sanitation workers.

Mahakumbh 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take a holy dip at Sangam on the occasion of Prayagraj Mahakumbh on February 5. On Wednesday, during the auspicious time of Ashtami Tithi of Magh month, he will take a dip in the Triveni Sangam and perform spiritual rituals. After bathing, the Prime Minister will worship Ganga and wish for the well-being and prosperity of the countrymen.

Prime Minister's Mahakumbh Yatra Program

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's program of about one hour has been fixed.

  • 10 am: The Prime Minister will reach Bamrauli Airport by special aircraft.
  • Helipad arrival: After this, he will land at the helipad of DPS ground in Arail by three army helicopters.
  • Sangam Yatra: After reaching the VIP jetty by car, Nishadraj will depart for Sangam coast by cruise.
  • Holy bath and worship: The Prime Minister will perform Ganga Aarti after taking a dip in the Triveni Sangam.
  • Meeting with the Sanyasi community: During this, he will interact with saints and representatives of various Akharas, Acharyawada, Dandiwada and Khakchowk.
  • Return: After about an hour, the Prime Minister will depart from Prayagraj.
Mahakumbh 2024 and PM Modi's devotion

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has earlier performed Ganga Aarti and worship on the banks of Sangam on 13 December 2024. He had wished for the success of this mega event. Earlier, he had also reached Prayagraj in the 2019 Kumbh Mela and participated in various programs.
