PM Modi Tamil Nadu Tour: Today is the last day of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's two-day Tamil Nadu tour. PM Modi will visit Arichal Munai Point near Dhanushkodi today i.e. on Sunday. Arichal Munai Point is actually the place from where Ram Setu was constructed. The Prime Minister will visit here today at 9:30.

After this, at 10.15 PM Modi will offer prayers at the Kothandaramaswamy temple in Dhanushkodi. The meaning of the name Kothandarama is Ram with the bow. It is situated in Dhanushkodi. It is said that it was here that Vibhishana met Lord Rama for the first time and sought refuge from him. There are some legends that this is the place where Lord Rama coronated Vibhishana.

PM Modi worshiped in Rameshwaram temple

Prime Minister Modi on Saturday offered prayers at the ancient Shiva temple Ramanathaswamy in Tamil Nadu. Apart from this, he also took a dip on the shore of 'Agni Teerth'. The Shiva temple situated on Rameshwaram island in Ramanathapuram district is also related to Ramayana. It is said that Lord Rama had installed Shivalinga here. Lord Ram and Goddess Sita worshiped here.

Let us tell you that the consecration of Ram temple is to take place in Ayodhya on 22 January. For this, Prime Minister Modi is on a special ritual for 11 days. Before the consecration of Ram temple, PM Narendra Modi had reached Tamil Nadu on a two-day visit on Saturday. On Saturday he did a road show in Chennai. After this, today i.e. on 21st January, he will now offer prayers in Dhanushkodi and Rameshwaram.
