Garib Kalyan Yojana: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made a big announcement while addressing an election rally in Chhattisgarh. Addressing a public meeting in Durg on Saturday, PM Modi announced the extension of 'Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana' for the next five years. The Prime Minister said- “I have decided that the BJP government will now extend the scheme of providing free ration to 80 crore poor people of the country for the next 5 years.” Prime Minister Modi further said that the love and blessings of the people of the country always gives him the strength to take big decisions.

Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana, which provides free ration to the poor, was started during Covid-19. But Prime Minister Modi has taken this scheme forward many times. This scheme has been discussed in every election held after the Corona period. Now once again before the assembly elections of five states, Prime Minister Modi has announced to extend it for the next 5 years. Lok Sabha elections are also going to be held next year.

PM said – I will not let the poor sleep hungry

Prime Minister Modi said that when the difficult times of Corona came, the poor people of this country had to face the most problems. The biggest crisis facing the poor was what to eat themselves and what to feed their children. He said that in such a situation we decided that we will not let the poor of the country remain hungry. To ensure that the poor get two full meals a day, our government started the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana. Which will be continued further also.

PM Modi also targets caste census

During this, Prime Minister Modi also mentioned the resolution letter of the Bharatiya Janata Party released a day earlier. He said that in that resolution letter, special preference has been given to women, youth and farmers. Their needs have been taken care of. During the rally, Prime Minister Modi described himself as a servant of the poor. Also targeting the caste census, Prime Minister Modi said that some political parties are conspiring to divide the poor. But for them the biggest caste in this country is the poor.

Counterattack on Congress on the pretext of poor welfare scheme

Addressing a rally in Durg, Chhattisgarh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that ever since forming the government in 2014, he has given the highest priority to the welfare of the country's poor. During this period, he also fiercely attacked the Congress party. He said that Congress never wants the welfare of the poor of the country. He said that Congress wants to keep the poor always poor.

Prime Minister Modi accused Congress that Congress never gave anything to the poor except deception. As long as Congress was in the central government, it kept looting the rights of the poor and filling it in the coffers of its leaders.
