Rajasthan / Police inspector's son rams many with his audi car in Rajasthan, 1 killed

Jaipur: A scooty rider was killed and several other people were injured after they were hit by a speeding Audi car driven by the son of a police inspector in Rajasthan’s Jodhpur.

The incident occurred on Chopasni Road late on Thursday night. It is being said that inspector Zulfikar Ali's son Zaidi was behind the wheel of the Audi car, with his two friends accompanying him. The speeding high-end vehicle hit a cart, a scooty and a bullet bike, leaving them completely mangled on the roadway. The scooty rider lost his life in the incident while several others sustained injuries.

After the fatal incident, people surrounded the cop’s son. In a video, an emotionally charged woman could be seen slapping the inspector’s son and screaming at him. The police have initiated investigations into the matter.

In a similar incident earlier this year, a man had died after a Mercedes car, driven by a 19-year-old youth, rammed into the two-wheeler he was riding in Delhi's Vasant Vihar area. 

The victim was identified as Antony Joseph. He was on his way back home on his scooty after dropping his son in Vasant Vihar. Suddenly, a speeding Mercedes car hit his vehicle. He sustained serious injuries in the incident and subsequently died. The accused teenager, identified as Aryan Jain, was arrested by the police under various provisions.

In yet another incident, six people died after their car hit a stationary fuel tanker in Indore district of Madhya Pradesh in February this year, The car was completely damaged, police said, adding that all its six occupants, who were residents of Indore,. died on the spot.
