Bollywood / Priyanka Chopra to star in Keanu Reeves' 'The Matrix 4'?

One of the most successful science fiction action films is Matrix series which has entertained the masses with three films - The Matrix, The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions. Now, the makers are all set for the fourth instalment which is yet to be titled. The film stars Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Neil Patrick Harris in the lead roles and a new cast member is likely to be added to the team.

Yes, as per reports in Variety, Priyanka Chopra Jonas is in talks to be a part of fourth Matrix film. The website hasn't divulged details about her character and is currently close to the negotiation stage. Moreover, the cast is currently undergoing training for the action sequences and the film will go on floors in Northern California.

Earlier, talking about Matrix 4, Toby Emmerich, the chairman of Warner Bros. Picture Group said in a statement to Variety, "We could not be more excited to be re-entering ‘The Matrix’ with Lana Wachowski

He also said, "Lana is a true visionary — a singular and original creative filmmaker — and we are thrilled that she is writing, directing and producing this new chapter in ‘The Matrix’ universe."

Toby concluded by saying, "Many of the ideas Lilly (Lana's sister) and I explored 20 years ago about our reality are even more relevant now. I’m very happy to have these characters back in my life and grateful for another chance to work with my brilliant friends."
