Rahul Gandhi On Gujarat Election: Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has told the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) a big reason for the poor performance of the Congress in the Gujarat elections. Rahul Gandhi on Friday (December 16) said that the Aam Aadmi Party played a big role in the poor performance of the Congress in the recently concluded Gujarat assembly elections. He also claimed that had AAP not been there in Gujarat, the Congress would have defeated the ruling BJP (RJ).

According to NDTV, Rahul Gandhi reiterated his party's claim, saying, "You were a proxy in Gujarat." The AAP rejected these allegations, insisting that it was the Congress that sided with the BJP to block AAP's entry into Gujarat. Rahul Gandhi again attacked the BJP, accusing it of "dividing India" and spreading hatred.

Rahul Gandhi's target on BJP

He said, "BJP is very clear about who they are, they have divided India. They spread hatred and they are very clear about who they are. The day Congress will understand what it is not , she will win every election." Regarding regional parties, he said that they do not have the vision to defeat the BJP. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that one should not underestimate the Congress as it is the only ideology-based and ideologically driven party that can defeat the Bharatiya Janata Party. At the same time, he accused BJP of being a 'fascist party'.

Addressing a press conference on completion of 100 days of Congress' 'Bharat Jodo Yatra', he alleged that the work of BJP-RSS (Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh) is to defame. Rahul Gandhi said that the party's millions of workers are its strength and if we use our workers well, we will be able to ensure a massive victory for the Congress in the next elections in Rajasthan as well.
