The blame for this has been leveled against BJP Yuva Morcha. Congress is planning to lodge a police complaint against BJP Yuva Morcha workers.

According to Congress leaders, before the entry of 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra' in Lakhimpur district, BJP Yuva Morcha workers vandalized IYC vehicles on Friday night. After which Congress is planning to demand the arrest of these miscreants. Earlier, cutouts and banners of Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi were also torn and damaged in Lakhimpur.

‘Congress is not afraid of the attack in Assam’

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has condemned this attack. While sharing a post on his social media, he has said that he condemns the attack on vehicles and tearing of banners and posters of the Congress party during the Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra by BJP goons in Lakhimpur, Assam. Further, Kharge has written that in the last 10 years, BJP has tried to crush every right given by the Constitution to the people of India. He also said that Congress is not afraid of the attacks and threats against Congress in Assam.

‘Attack took place on the instructions of CM’

Meanwhile, Assam Congress President Bhupen Kumar Bora says that on Friday evening, some people associated with BJP attacked vehicles in Lakhimpur, along with this, trucks carrying cutouts of Rahul Gandhi were attacked. Bhupen Kumar Bora alleges that this attack took place on the instructions of Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

‘CM Hemant scared of the support Congress is getting’

Let us tell you that with the arrival of Congress' Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Assam, the politics there has heated up. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and state Chief Minister Hemant Biswa Sarma are making fierce verbal attacks on each other. Congress leaders say that Chief Minister Biswa is scared after seeing the way people are supporting the Congress Yatra, hence he is trying to create hurdles in the Yatra. Meanwhile, Congress media in-charge Jairam Ramesh says that the Assam government is trying its best to thwart Bharat Jodo Yatra by any means and not allow it to succeed.

The journey started in Manipur on 14 January

It is noteworthy that on the lines of Bharat Jodo Yatra, Congress is once again taking out Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi. Which started in Manipur on 14 January. The last stop of the journey will be Mumbai. This journey will end in Mumbai in March. During this 67-day journey, Congress will cover a distance of 6,713 km passing through 110 districts of 15 states.
