Yogi Cabinet News: The first cabinet expansion of Yogi Government 2.0 will take place today at Raj Bhavan at 5 pm. Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party President Omprakash Rajbhar, BJP MLC Dara Singh Chauhan and RLD Purkaji MLA Anil Kumar or RLD legislature party leader Rajpal Baliyan can take oath as ministers. Rajbhar and Dara are OBC while Anil Kumar is Dalit and Rajpal Balyan is Jat.

According to sources, Governor Anandi Ben Patel is returning to Lucknow on Tuesday evening. After his return to Lucknow, a swearing-in ceremony is proposed at Raj Bhavan. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, BJP State President Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary and government ministers will be present.

There can be a cabinet of 60 ministers

It is believed that social equations will also be sorted out in the selection of faces for the government. Currently, there are 23 faces in the government from the general category, 20 from OBC and 9 from SC-ST and one Muslim minister. Participation of OBC and SC will further increase in expansion. In UP, the maximum size of the cabinet including the CM can be 60.

8 ministers have vacant seats in the cabinet

At present there are 52 faces including CM Yogi Adityanath. There are 18 cabinets, 14 independent charges and 20 ministers of state. 8 seats are vacant but only two to three ministers are likely to be made. Let us tell you that there was talk of cabinet expansion for a long time. Recently OP Rajbhar had said that if Rajpath is not received then he will not celebrate Holi.

BJP will get relief in Purvanchal

Before the Lok Sabha elections, BJP is busy in fixing its political equation in UP. Making OP Rajbhar and Dara Singh Chauhan ministers will provide relief to BJP in Purvanchal. There are a large number of voters from both the communities in Purvanchal. BJP has set the target of winning 80 Lok Sabha seats of UP. Keeping this in view, BJP has taken Rajbhar and Chauhan along.

There was an alliance between both the parties in the assembly elections. Due to this, BJP had suffered a lot in Purvanchal. At the same time, Dara Singh had joined SP just before the assembly elections. Only a few days ago BJP has appointed MLC.
