Ramcharitmanas Bageshwar Sarkar: Controversy has erupted all over the country on Ramcharitmanas. The news of burning and tearing of copies of holy Ramcharitmanas from many places has hurt the faith of the people. Statements are being made continuously on Ramcharitmanas. SP leader Swami Prasad Maurya has also started a new controversy by giving controversial remarks on Ramcharitmanas. Now Bageshwar Sarkar i.e. Peethadhishwar Dhirendra Krishna Shastri of Bageshwar Dham has put his side regarding the controversy over the holy book of Hindus.

Regarding the controversy over Ramcharitmanas, he bluntly said that all this mischief is being done to make Hindus fight among themselves. He said that the time has come for every Hindu to wake up. You yourself have to think about those who have insulted Ramcharitmanas whether to shake hands with such people or not.

Bageshwar government said that those who adopt Ramcharitmanas should leave India. These people should not stay in India only. By insulting Ramcharitmanas, these people have lost their right to live in India. All Hindus need to unite against them. Along with this, he also demanded to declare Ramcharitmanas as a national book. Storyteller Dhirendra Shastri has also made a request to the government regarding this demand.

Expressing anger over the burning of copies of Ramcharitmanas, Dhirendra Shastri termed these incidents as 'international conspiracy'. He said that such an act is a conspiracy against Sanatan Dharma. To thwart these conspiracies, all Sanatanis will have to unite.
