According to the information, a situation of rebellion has arisen against China in the South East Asian country Indonesia. Thousands of people from an island in this Muslim-majority country have taken to the streets to revolt against China. Due to the aggressive rebellion, the situation worsened so much that the Indonesian government was forced to deploy anti-riot police forces to suppress the rebellion.

Why is protest being done, know the reason

It is alleged that a Chinese project will displace thousands of people living on the island. This is not the first time that such large-scale protests have taken place against China in any country. Even before this, people have taken to the streets against China in many countries including the Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam and Taiwan, the countries around the South China Sea. These countries are also deeply troubled by China's dominance in the South China Sea. China shows its dominance in this South China Sea area. Many times these countries have opposed China.

Indonesia is developing Sempang Island as a Special Economic Zone with a loan from China. In such a situation, thousands of people protested in Batam city on Monday regarding this plan. Under this project, a billion dollar glass factory will also be built on the island, which will displace about 7500 people. Dozens of protesters have been arrested after this incident. Actually, China has invested billions of dollars in Indonesia. Indonesian President Joko Widodo reportedly secured an investment promise of $11.5 billion from Zini Glass Holdings, the world's largest glass producer, to build the factory during a visit to the Chinese city of Chengdu.
