Cricket Desk: Things seem to be going really well in the Delhi Capitals camp, with the team sitting pretty at the top of the points table. They look comfortably placed to be the first team to make it to the playoff stages of IPL 2020.

On Saturday, the Delhi Capitals sailed through to their seventh win in 9 matches. They beat the MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings by 5 wickets in Sharjah. Shikhar Dhawan continued his excellent run in IPL 2020 with his maiden century on Saturday.

Apart from the high-quality cricket that the team seems to be showing on the field, what is even more heart-warming is to see the team-mates prank each other and have fun as well.

On Saturday, DC coach Ricky Ponting became the latest member to get pranked by Rishabh Pant and Marcus Stoinis.

Ricky Ponting was speaking on a live interview during the match against CSK when the two decided to clown around in the background.

Delhi Capitals look poised to make it to playoffs

It started off with Marcus Stoinis, who was seated in the dugout behind Ponting who was facing away at the camera and speaking. Stoinis looked at the camera and started to make funny faces and grin. Watching him, India wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant, joined in and stood behind Ponting teasing and mimicking the coach as the commentators burst into laughter.

The video later went viral with many people commenting on Rishabh Pant’s imitation and calling him a clown.

Later, Ricky Ponting shared screenshots of the two players clowning around behind him and wrote on social media, ‘One day I'll get to do an interview in peace @DelhiCapitals @RishabhPant17 @MStoinis’.

Rishabh Pant has missed out on DC’s last three games due to a grade 1 hamstring strain. But it is great to see the player still stay around his team-mates and have fun while he recovers. He is said to be out for a minimum of 7 to 10 days.
