Asia Cup 2022 / Rishabh Pant straightforward response to threat from Dinesh Karthik over place

Obviously Pant is the team's first choice, but Karthik has also given a tough competition to Pant since his return to cricket. Responding to a question during a conversation with Zee Hindustan, Pant said, "We don't think about those lines. We personally always want to give our 100 percent to the team. The rest depends on the coach and the captain how the team can take advantage of it.

Pant and Karthik have not been selected in the Indian team for the three-match ODI series to be played in Zimbabwe from August 18. Both of them will now play directly in the Asia Cup 2022, where India will play their first match against Pakistan at the Dubai International Stadium.
