IND vs ENG / Rohit Sharma shut everyone down on the allegation of 'rank turner' pitch

IND vs ENG: Team India registered a big win of 434 runs over England in Rajkot. Along with this, captain Rohit Sharma said that the Indian team has the ability to win the match on any pitch. India took a 2-1 lead in the five-match series by bowling out England for just 122 runs, setting a target of 557 runs to win on Sunday, the fourth day of the third Test. There was a lot of controversy on the pitch during this series. Rohit Sharma spoke to the media after the match. He said that we have won many matches on such wickets before, turning pitches where the ball takes a turn remain our strength. This gives us balance.

Rohit said that we have given results for many years and we will continue to achieve results in future also. But we can't control certain things like we don't discuss whether we want a rank turner pitch or not. We arrive at the venue two days before the match and what can we do in two days anyway?

‘We will win on any pitch’

Regarding the pitch, Rohit Sharma said that only the curator takes the final decision and makes the pitch. We have the power to play on any wicket and win the match. When we won the match at Cape Town in South Africa, everyone knew what kind of wicket it was. Rohit said that the Indian team has found a way out of all situations which can be seen in the first three Tests.

‘Sarfaraz is hungry for runs’

Talking about Sarfaraz Khan, he said that he has gained a lot of experience in domestic cricket due to which the team management did not need to discuss any kind of plan with him before his debut. Rohit said that I have not seen Sarfaraz bat that much. But he has scored runs in difficult conditions for Mumbai, he is hungry for runs and in the last four-five years he has been scoring runs consistently in domestic cricket, so he is doing well.
