Mumbai: Mahesh Bhatt's comeback directorial Sadak 2 finally streamed on Disney+ Hotstar. The movie which is a sequel to 1991 film of the same name stars Sanjay Dutt, Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur in the lead roles. When the trailer dropped it received several backlashes from the netizens due to the ongoing nepotism debate amid Sushant Singh Rajput death case. However, now that the film is released it's being flooded with negative reviews due to the not-so-good content.According to IMDb (Internet Movie Database), Sadak 2 has received the lowest ratings for any Hindi movie with 1 out of 10. The website quoted '25,887 IMDb users have given a weighted average vote of 1.0 / 10.' Even the critics gave it negative reviews and slammed the film for its storyline. One of the users wrote on the website, "If there would have 0 ratings, I would have given that. Totally waste." While another comment read as "Sadak 2 just spoilt the old long legacy of Sadak! The performances are very pathetic and the storyline couldn't survive the film! There's no better way to lift it up. The star cast doesn't make any impression and fails to make a good point."One more user reviewed the film as "Movie said to be sequel have no connection from the first part, it's just a ploy to grab eyeball, the story is not clear and the screenplay is uneven, Mahesh Bhatt returned to direction after 21 years to give such a disaster, Alia Bhatt hamming in every scene, Sanjay Dutt doesn't look interested and Aditya Roy Kapur is wasted, he is nowhere in the second half I think Bhatt have lost their touch in past few years It will add up to their flop list. Better give it miss their many better stuff available on OTT."
