Upcoming Movie / Sadak 2 Gets A Release Date

News Helpline . Mumbai | There was a time when people used to wait for Fridays for first day, first show screening of new film release. Owing to Covid-19, there are no theatrical releases now but people do wait for the release of the films now on the OTT Platforms. 'Sadak 2' starring Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Roy Kapoor and Alia Bhatt gets a release date. The film will release on 28 August on Disney+Hotstar.

Sanjay Dutt took to his social media and shared a first look poster of the film. He wrote, "The road to love is the road to take. 'Sadak 2' is directed by Mahesh Bhatt who has directed a film after 20 years. The film is the sequel to 1991 film 'Sadak' which starred Sanjay Dutt, Pooja Bhatt and Sadashiv Amrapurkar in lead roles. The film was a big hit at the box office with its popular musical score.

'Sadak 2' stars Sanjay Dutt, Pooja Bhatt, Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapoor in lead roles. It is a story about Ravi's depression and how he helps a young woman's encounter with a godman, who is out to expose this fake guru running an ashram. The film produced by Mukesh Bhatt is shot in Ooty, Mumbai, Mysore and Uttrakhand.

The film was initially scheduled for March 2020 release but owing to widespread of Corona, the release got postponed and later Disney+Hotstar announced that film will exclusively release on their platform.

The film will now release on 28 August only on Disney+Hotstar.
