Siddharth Shukla / Sambhavna gets into a brawl with a Mumbai cop at Siddharth Funeral

Actor Sambhavna Seth got into a brawl with the police in Mumbai after her husband Avinash Dwivedi was manhandled by one of the officers on Friday. The incident came about on the Oshiwara Crematorium wherein the remaining rites of Sidharth Shukla had been performed. Several movies of the incident have surfaced online displaying Sambhavna screaming at the cops.


In one of the videos shared on Instagram, Sambhavna Seth at the side of Avinash Dwivedi stood close to a gate with their pals, surrounded by a set of police officers. Sambhavna walked far from the gate and at the equal time a scuffle broke out. In the clip, a cop held Avinash by his T-shirt then pushed him back with his hand on his face. Sambhavna then rushed towards. 


In some other video shared via way of means of a paparazzo account at the platform, Sambhavna tugged on the cop's hand as she approached him. One of her pals shouted at the cop even as pointing at Avinash, "Kyu haat lagaya usko (Why did you contact him)?" As Sambhavana pulled Avinash away, the latter informed the cop, "Aapne maara (You hit me)." The cop replied, "Maara nahi hai (I failed to hit you)."


The argument persisted with Sambhavna asking the cop repeatedly, "Aapne kameez Kaise pakda hai (How should you preserve him by the T-blouse)?" The argument ended with the institution making its way towards the crematorium.


Fans came forward to aid Sambhavna. A fan took to the comments segment of the video and said, "Policeman had hit Avinash sir for no reason. Anyone could have fought against it." Another character commented, "How could he hit him????" A person also said, "Feeling bad for them."

Sambhavna Seth and Avinash Dwivedi were attending the remaining rites of Sidharth. The actor died on Thursday at the age of 40. He was declared dead on arrival at the Cooper Hospital in Juhu. He was cremated in the presence of his family, friends and colleagues.
