Two terrorists have been killed in an encounter between terrorists and security forces in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir. They are said to be related to the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba. All this happened when an encounter took place between the security forces and these terrorists in Kanjilur area on Wednesday. One of them was the same terrorist who was recently involved in the murder of a bank manager in Kulgam.

In fact, according to the report of news agency ANI, IGP Kashmir said that one of the slain terrorists has been identified as Jan Mohammad Lone of Shopian. He was recently involved in the murder of bank manager Vijay Kumar on June 2 in Kulgam district. The other is being identified.

The Kashmir Zone Police also tweeted that two terrorists belonging to the banned terrorist organization Lashkar were killed. Further information will be given soon. The operation was jointly carried out by the Jammu and Kashmir Police and security forces. The terrorists had links with the terrorist organization. A policeman also suffered minor injuries in this encounter.

Describing this encounter, IG Vijay Kumar of Kashmir Range informed that on Tuesday night, information about the presence of terrorists was received in Kanjilur of Shopian district. Following this information, the Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF started a house-to-house search by cordoning off the area. Finding themselves surrounded during the search operation, the terrorists started firing on the security forces, to which the soldiers retaliated.

Earlier, two terrorists were killed in an encounter in Bemina area of ​​Srinagar. During that time, two terrorists, including Pakistani commander Abdullah Gojri and local Lashkar commander Musaib, were killed in an encounter by security forces in Bemina late on Monday.
