In Azamgarh district of UP, once again the havoc of poisonous liquor has come to the fore. So far seven people have died due to consumption of spurious liquor, while more than 12 people are ill. The incident has created outcry in many villages of Ahraula police station area.

Poisonous liquor sold from country liquor shop

The liquor sold on Sunday evening from the country liquor shop located in Mahul, Nagar Panchayat under Ahraula police station area has been found poisonous. In the month of May, more than 30 people died in Mittupur village due to spurious liquor. After the incident, the district administration had launched a campaign against illegal liquor business.
