The 30th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) saw so much drama as has hardly been seen in any PSL match so far. Peshawar Zalmi scored 158 for seven in 20 overs, in reply Lahore Qalandars scored 138 runs in 19 overs and lost eight wickets.

Fawad Ahmed was present at the crease along with captain Shaheen Shah Afridi in the last over. Peshawar Zalmi looked like it would win the match easily, but Shaheen Afridi batted brilliantly in Mohammad Umar's over and took the match to the super over.

Umar started the last over with a wide, followed by a four, then a six, then a six by Shaheen Afridi, creating a sensation in the stadium. Now seven runs were needed from the last three balls. Umar threw a two-ball dot and then returned Peshawar Zalmi to the match, but Shaheen Afridi hit a six off the last ball to take the match to the Super Over.

After 20 overs, Lahore Qalandars' score was 158 for eight. Wahab Riaz again bowled for Peshawar Zalmi in the Super Over and conceded just five runs. Shaheen Shah Afridi was unable to do with the ball, which Shaheen Shah Afridi was doing with the ball and Shoaib Malik gave victory to Peshawar Zalmi by hitting a four in the first two balls of the super over. Wahab was adjudged man of the match, taking four wickets for just 19 runs in his quota of four overs apart from a superb super over.
