WI vs SA 5th T20I: South Africa won the fifth T20 by 25 runs to win the T20 series against West Indies 3-2. In the fifth T20, a 127-run partnership for the second wicket between Aiden Markram and Quinton de Kock turned the match upside down. Man of the match Markram scored 70 runs which is the highest score of his career. De Kock continued his stellar form and scored 60 runs off 42 balls. In this victory, Markram was awarded the man of the match title, while Tabrez Shamsi was awarded the man of the tournament title. Even though the South African team was successful in winning the fifth T20 match, an incident happened during the match which angered the former South African legends.

Actually, during the South African innings, there was a big mistake from the umpire, to which Steyn and de Villiers reacted on Twitter and expressed their anger. It happened when the last ball of the South African innings was bowled.

Yann Mulder (Dale Steyn) was playing the last ball of the South African innings. Mulder was trying to hit a big shot off the last ball. In such a situation, bowler Obed McCoy (Dale Steyn) bowled the last ball of the innings outside the batsman's leg-stump with a slow bouncer, which the batsman missed. But the ball was outside the leg stump. After which the batsman was confident that the umpire would give this ball a wide but it did not happen and the ball going out of that leg-stump was declared correct by the umpire decision. After which the batsman Mulder was quite surprised and kept looking at the umpire for some time. The South African batsman looked disappointed by such an action by the umpire.

At the same time, on social media, former South African fast bowler Dale Steyn tweeted and wrote about the umpire's mistake for terming this ball as wide, 'How can this ball not be earth wide.' After Steyn, de Villiers also gave his reaction on this and wrote, 'Shocking'. This video is becoming very viral on social media.
