PRO Santosh Verma of DG Jail said that ED's investigation against Kappan is still pending. As such, he cannot be released from jail now. While ordering Kappan's release, Additional Sessions Judge Pravesh Mishra asked him to produce two zamindars of Rs 1 lakh each and a personal bond of the same amount.
