Udhayanidhi Stalin Statement: After the statement of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and Youth and Sports Minister in the government, Udhayanidhi, now there seems to be a split in the I.N.D.I.A alliance itself. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has opposed Udhayanidhi's statement. He said that the beauty of India is unity in diversity. His statement has created a massive controversy on this subject.

I respect Sanatan Dharma- Mamta Banerjee

The Chief Minister of West Bengal said, “Every religion has different sentiments. Unity in diversity is at the very core of India. We should not get involved in any such matter which hurts a section of people." She said that I respect Sanatan Dharma. It gives us the knowledge of Rigveda, Atharvaveda. Our government gives allowance to all the priests of the state. Let us tell you that earlier TMC spokesperson Kunal Ghosh had condemned Udhayanidhi's statement. Ghosh said, "His remarks are extremely unfortunate. It has nothing to do with the Bharat alliance. We strongly condemn it. The comment should be changed."

Case registered against Udhayanidhi

A complaint has been lodged with the Delhi Police on behalf of Supreme Court lawyer Vineet Jindal against Udhayanidhi Stalin, who gave a controversial statement on Sanatan Dharma. The Hindu Sena has also filed a complaint against Udhayanidhi Stalin before the Delhi Police Commissioner and demanded action. Apart from this, Shiv Sena leader Rahul Kanal has written a letter to the Mumbai Police demanding action against Uday. However, Uday Stalin has said that he still stands by his statement.
