Nepal In Earthquake: Due to the strong earthquake that occurred in Nepal on Tuesday afternoon, there is news of collapse of many houses in Bajhang and Chainpur areas, apart from this, many roads in and around Bajhang area have also been blocked due to landslides. There are also reports of cattle dying at some places. The earthquake here was so strong that its tremors were felt in entire North India including Delhi NCR. Nepal's earthquake department has measured its intensity at 6.3. The epicenter of the earthquake was in Chainpur of Bajhang area.

The first earthquake hit Nepal on Tuesday morning, the strongest shock which occurred at 3.06 pm was the fourth. At 2:40 in the afternoon, there was a third shock which was so strong that its vibration was felt till Delhi NCR, after this the fourth shock was so severe that it caused houses to crack in many areas of Nepal. There were also reports of collapse of houses from some areas. At present there is no news of any casualty, but relief and rescue operations have been started. At present, there is news of two people getting injured due to the landslide caused by the earthquake.

Earthquakes hit Nepal four times

According to the Earthquake Department of Nepal, not two but four earthquake tremors were felt in Nepal, however, only two of these tremors were felt till Delhi NCR. The first tremor of the earthquake in Nepal was felt at 3.45 am, whose intensity was 4.0 on the Richter scale. After this, the second shock occurred at 11:00 am whose intensity was approximately 2.7. The third earthquake in Nepal occurred at 2:40 pm. The intensity of this earthquake was 5.3, this was the first shock whose tremors were felt till Delhi NCR. The epicenter of this earthquake was Talkot of Bajhang. After this, the third shock of 6.3 magnitude occurred due to which landslides and incidents of house collapse and cracking occurred in Nepal.

Road blocked

According to Chief District Officer Narayan Pandey, there are also reports of landslides due to the earthquake, due to which the road connecting Bajhang to Kailani has been blocked. According to a BBC report, the road leading from Khorpe to Chainpur section has also been hit by the earthquake. This road has also been blocked due to landslides, efforts are being made to open it.

Two people injured

According to Bajhang Deputy Superintendent of Police Gyan Bahadur, two people were hit by the landslide caused by the earthquake in Jalbagar of Talkot. Those who have suffered severe injuries. Apart from this, cracks have appeared in school buildings, ward offices, buildings and many houses, some houses have even collapsed. The earthquake was so strong that in many places, there are reports of some cattle dying due to falling of stones in landslides, at present all the information is being collected.

Damage assessment is being done

The damage caused by the earthquake in Nepal is being assessed, according to Bajhang Chief District Officer Narayan Pandey, there is no information about any human loss due to the earthquake yet, but investigation is still being done. At present, efforts are being made to find out which areas of Nepal were damaged by the earthquake and to what extent.
