Stock Market: Trading started with strong momentum in the domestic stock market today and the stock market was supported by the strong performance of banking stocks. Today Nifty had crossed 18,000 in pre-opening itself and this is the first day after 5th April 2022 when Nifty has crossed 18,000 in pre-opening itself. Nifty has managed to go above 18 thousand in 109 sessions.

In today's trade, the BSE 30-share index Sensex opened at 60,408 with a jump of 293.16 points, or 0.49 percent. NSE's 50-share index Nifty has managed to open 108.10 points or 0.60 per cent higher at 18,044.

Sensex and Nifty move in opening minutes

The Sensex is showing a jump of more than 300 points in the opening minutes. In this, trading is going on at 60,421 with a jump of 306.01 points i.e. 0.51 percent. Apart from this, the level of 18029 is being seen in Nifty after gaining 93 points i.e. 0.52 percent.

What's up with the sectoral index

The consumer durables sector is up about 1 per cent and the financial sector is up 0.93 per cent. Metals are up half a percent and bank stocks are seeing a rise of 0.49-0.44 percent. Business is being done in the IT sector with a good strength of 0.44 percent.

Which stocks are rising in Sensex?

All 30 stocks of Sensex are seeing a jump and among them Bharti Airtel, IndusInd Bank, ONGC, HDFC and Kotak Mahindra Bank are up. Sun Pharma, Dr Reddy's Labs, Titan, ITC, Maruti, M&M, L&T, Wipro, Tata Steel, SBI, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Reliance Industries, HDFC Bank, Infosys, HDFC, Axis Bank and Infosys have also risen. Asian Paints, Nestle, HUL, UltraTech Cement and Bajaj Finserv along with PowerGrid and NTPC are seeing gains.

Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 46 stocks are seeing an increase and 4 stocks are falling. Among the falling stocks of Nifty, the shares of Cipla, HCL Tech, Sun Pharma and Asian Paints are falling.

How is the market condition in pre-opening

There are good signs for the stock market in the pre-opening of the stock market and Nifty had crossed 18000 in the pre-open itself. On the other hand, the Nifty of NSE was up at 18026 with a gain of 90.45 points or 0.50 percent. The BSE Sensex was seen at the level of 60321 with a jump of 206 points or 0.34 percent. The SGX Nifty also saw great growth.
