Bollywood | Actress Jacqueline Fernandez was summoned by the Delhi Police on September 19 in connection with the money laundering and extortion case involving Sukesh Chandrashekhar. On Monday, Jacqueline once again appeared before the Economic Offenses Wing (EOW). She was supposed to reach at 11 am but she reached around 2.30 pm. She was interrogated for about 7 hours and at 9.30 she was seen leaving the EOW's office. Officials informed that this is the second time that the Delhi Police has called the actress for questioning over her role in the case.

Jacqueline was questioned earlier also

On Wednesday too, Jacqueline appeared before the EOW and was interrogated for about 8 hours. In front of him, Pinky Irani was also seated and questions and answers were done. It is said about Pinky Irani that she used to do the work of introducing actresses to Sukesh Chandrashekhar.

Jacqueline's name in ED's chargesheet

Sukesh Chandrashekhar is currently lodged in Tihar Jail, Delhi. He is accused of duping many high profile people. It also includes Aditi Singh, wife of Shivinder Mohan Singh, former promoter of Fortis Healthcare. On August 17, the Enforcement Directorate had filed a chargesheet in the multi-crore money laundering case involving Sukesh, in which Jacqueline was named as an accused. According to the ED, Jacqueline and Nora Fatehi took cash and expensive gifts from Sukesh.
