In the 52nd match of the 13th season of IPL, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by 5 wickets. This is Sunrisers sixth win in the season. The team has reached the top-4 of the points table. With this, Hyderabad became the frontrunner of the fourth team of the play-offs. Despite the defeat, Bangalore remains at number two.

On the ground of Sharjah, Bengaluru lost the toss and gave a target of 121 runs while batting first. In response, Hyderabad lost 121 wickets in 14.1 overs, scoring 121 runs.

Riddhiman and Manish started the innings to chase the target Sunrisers did not start well. On 10 runs, the team lost the first wicket as captain David Warner (8). Sandeep bowls out Kohli for a record 7th time

Sandeep Sharma sent Virat Kohli for a record 7th time in the IPL. With this, he also equaled the record of dismissing a batsman in the league the most times. Earlier, Zaheer Khan has also dismissed Mahendra Singh Dhoni 7 times. Kohli scored 68 runs in 12 innings against Sandeep and was dismissed 7 times.

Two changes in the playing eleven of RCB
