IND vs PAK | Pakistan's fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi is returning after a long time in the T20 World Cup 2022, while Team India's fast bowler Mohammad Shami is also returning to the T20 format after a long time. Afridi was running out of the Pakistani team due to injury, while in this format he has been seen playing very few matches for Team India. Recently he was found to be Covid-19 positive and due to this he could not play the T20 series against Australia and South Africa. Shami has been selected in Team India for the T20 World Cup in place of Jasprit Bumrah. Earlier he was included in the list of standby players. A warm-up match was played between India and Australia at the Gabba ground, followed by a warm-up match between Pakistan and England.

Shami and Afridi met at the nets before Pakistan's warm-up match. When Shaheen came, Shami called him. Shami said, 'How is Shaheen bhai?' After this Shaheen went and shook hands with Shami and also hugged.

Shaheen also asked Shami's well being. Shaheen said about Kovid-19 to Shami, 'It was not getting finished.' After this Shami laughed and said, 'Number de de yaar', to which Shaheen also started laughing.
