This morning i.e. on Saturday, a case of murder has come to the fore. The terrorists kidnapped and killed the sub-inspector. This murder case is coming out from Lambura. Sub Inspector Farooq Ahmed Mir was targeted by the terrorists, who were present at the house. It is being told that he was kidnapped from the house and taken to a nearby field and shot. According to the information, Sub Inspector Farooq Ahmed Mir was from the 23rd Battalion of IRP and was currently posted at CTC Lethipora.

After this the security forces have started the search operation in the entire area. The manner in which this incident has been carried out has once again raised concerns about target killing.
