Defending champions India continued their winning campaign by defeating Oman by 21 runs in this thrilling contest. Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and opted to bat first. India scored 188 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs, with Sanju Samson playing a brilliant half-century knock of 56 runs off 45 balls. In reply, Oman managed 167 runs for 4 wickets in 20 overs. Amir Kaleem (64) and Hammad Mirza (51) scored fine fifties, but it wasn’t enough to chase the target.
