T20 World Cup | Former Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq is very happy to see Team India playing to the best of his ability. He praised India's opener Rohit Sharma and said that he can break the backbone of any team. On Friday, Team India registered a big win against Scotland. Earlier on Wednesday, he defeated Afghanistan by a huge margin. However, India will not only have to beat Namibia by a huge margin to reach the semi-finals but will also depend on Afghanistan defeating New Zealand by a huge margin on Sunday. The win against Scotland took India's net run rate to +1.619.

Inzamam said in his YouTube channel, 'India's selection has become better and I say this because they included Ashwin in the team and got Rohit to open. In the second match he sent Rohit to bat at 3 and showed that you are not sure about your players. Rohit is the kind of player in ODIs and T20 Internationals who can single-handedly change the course of the game and he started against Rashid Khan who is Afghanistan's main player. He really ensured India's momentum.

Rohit played an innings of 74 runs against Afghanistan in 47 balls with the help of three sixes and 8 fours. Inzamam looked quite impressed with Rohit going after the opposition's leading bowler. He attacked against Rashid Khan. Rashid gave 36 runs in this match and did not get any wicket. He further said, “Such an attack breaks the backbone of the opposition. When he hit Rashid for two sixes, the rest of the bowlers also got frustrated. This is Rohit's class. His specialty is that he attacks the best bowler of the opposition team. He played brilliantly that evening.
