Attack on Salman Rushdie: Indian-origin writer Salman Rushdie was attacked with a knife on Friday morning at an event in New York, USA. The attacker has been arrested and Salman Rushdie was immediately taken to the hospital. A section of the world considers Salman Rushdie to be a controversial author. He was already facing death threats.
