Bhilwara: A shocking case has come to light from Bhilwara, Rajasthan. Where a bride was driven away by her in-laws because she had failed in the virginity test on the honeymoon. The victim's mother told that 6 months ago her daughter was raped by a young man living in the neighborhood. Along with this, she had also threatened to kill her sons, fearing this, she remained silent. Then we got the daughter married on May 11 and sent her to her in-laws' house. But before the honeymoon in the in-laws' house, the rituals of Kukdi were done to test her virginity. In which she failed. Then she told about the rape that happened to her. After this, preparations were made to punish the rape victim by calling a social panchayat against the girl. Taking cognizance of whose information, the State Women's Commission has sought a report from the Bhilwara District Police in this regard.

The victim says that her parents had gone to the wedding. She had gone to the toilet during the night. Then a young man living in the neighborhood made her a victim of his lust. There was also a threat to kill both of his brothers if he told anything to anyone. After marriage, when she failed in the practice of cooking, she was beaten up by her in-laws and thrown out of the house. The culprits should get strict punishment. Police engaged in investigation of the case

On this matter, Bhilwara Superintendent of Police Adarsh ​​Sidhu said that this is a social evil. Which the police will try to eliminate through NGOs and social organizations. Instructions have also been issued to stop any kind of social panchayat in this regard. Action is also being taken in the case of rape lodged by the girl against the neighbor.
