Both wanted to go towards Sanatan Dharma, on which they had applied for registration after getting married. Although Sirgi Novika is a resident of Russia, but he has taken the citizenship of Israel.

Both of them expressed great reverence to God and said that God brought us to India, united us and got us married. Regarding the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, both said that everyone should live in peace, do not fight. Regarding the war, he said that the people of Russia and Ukraine do not want to fight, but the governments of both countries are fighting, while they believe that the fight is not right.

Registration in Special Marriage Act

SDM Dharamshala Shilpi Bekta said that a marriage has been registered on Monday under the Special Marriage Act. The bride is from Ukraine while the groom is Russian born Israeli. There is a procedure regarding registration, the general public has to notice. After that there is the registration which has been done today. The SDM said that so far this year 106 marriages have been registered in his office, out of which 40 percent marriages are of foreigners and Tibetans.
