CORONAVIRUS / The date of the end of Corona has come, WHO said a big thing

The World Health Organization (WHO) said that if there is no major outbreak of Kovid-19 after Omicron, then the epidemic may end in 2022. However, this does not mean that the corona virus will completely disappear.

Pandemic may end in 2022

It is difficult to make predictions at the moment, but the WHO expects that the epidemic may end in 2022 if nothing else happens. The end of the pandemic means there will be no major outbreaks.

Virus is capable of mutating

The WHO said that a large number of cases means that the virus is capable of mutating, so we do not know how the situation will unfold. However, one should remain cautious and expect that large outbreaks will end once Omicron spreads around the world.

Fast spread omicron

According to Vujnovic, the WHO is trying to predict when this will happen. But this is difficult because many countries are now changing their testing strategies. Omicron was very contagious and spreading rapidly, while some countries did not have the money to test everyone due to the large number of asymptomatic patients.

The WHO said that the picture we are seeing does not fully reflect the true number of cases at the time when the epidemic broke out.

Many countries have seen a decline in corona cases. Restrictions have also been removed due to the reduction in cases. Sweden, Denmark and Norway have all lifted COVID restrictions. It is likely that the UK and US will follow soon.

WHO director Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus recently said that it is too early for any country to surrender or declare victory.
