Sub Inspector Ved Prakash Yadav posted in Halka number 4 of Fatehpur Kotwali is a native of Pulbhulpar, Thana Kandhara in Azamgarh district. His wife and two children live in Lucknow. Ved Prakash, a 2012 batch inspector, was in-charge of Dilawarpur outpost in Asandra police station area of ​​the district.

In the month of September, he was transferred to Fatehpur Kotwali. After a long time on Saturday, when the sub-inspector did not come out of the house, the outpost in-charge called him. When he did not pick up the phone after calling several times, when he reached the spot, all the doors were found locked from inside.

On which a watchman was sent inside through the wall, then the body of the inspector was found hanging from the rope in the verandah. Which caused a stir. The Inspector-in-Charge informed the matter to the police officers and family members. On which the wife of the inspector living in Lucknow reached the spot. ASP Purnendu Singh told that the inspector was mentally disturbed, he was being treated by a reputed doctor of Lucknow.
