Pooran scored 306 runs in 14 matches for SRH at a strike rate of 144. Despite this, SRH released him ahead of the 2023 season, after which Lucknow Super Giants included him in their team. Now when Pooran hit 70 runs in just 26 balls at a strike rate of 269 against SRH, it seemed that he had completed 'revenge' against his old franchise.

LSG's spectacular win

In this victory of LSG, not only Nicholas Pooran but the whole team played brilliantly. The batsmen scored runs aggressively and the bowlers also kept the SRH batsmen tied down. After this defeat, SRH needs to rethink its strategy, especially to strengthen its bowling attack.
