The registration process for the first round for NEET PG counseling 2021 has started from today i.e. Wednesday, January 12, 2022. The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has also released the counseling schedule. The counseling process for the first round will run from January 12, 2022 to January 28, 2022. However, the registration process for the first rand will end on January 17.

After that the seat allotment process will be started. Earlier, the Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare Mansukh Mandaviya had announced the NEET PG 2021 counseling process to begin from January 12, 2022. Significantly, after months of hearing, the Supreme Court had ordered the start of NEET PG counseling.

Counseling will be done in four rounds

A total of four rounds of NEET counseling will be conducted by MCC from this session for 50% of All India Quota seats. It will be conducted as per AIQ Round-1, AIQ Round-2, AIQ Mopup Round and AIQ Stray vacancy. Earlier, MCC used to conduct only two rounds and transfer the vacant seats to the state quota. Because of this many students were denied admission. Now many students are expected to get relief from the four rounds of counseling.

Counseling will be done for these seats

All the process of NEET PG counseling 2021 will be conducted by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) through online mode only on the official website mcc.nic.in. All India Quota, Deemed, Central University and AFMS (MD/ MS/ Diploma/ PG DNB) seats will be offered to the eligible students through a total of 4 rounds of counseling by MCC.

Here is the complete schedule of counseling

  1. NEET PG Counseling 2021 Round-1 to be held: January 12 to 28, 2022
  2. NEET PG Counseling 2021 Round-2 will be held from February 03 to 19, 2022
  3. NEET PG Counseling 2021 Mop-up Round Held: February 22 to March 03, 2022
  4. Conduct of NEET PG Counseling 2021 Stray Vacancy Round: Dates will be announced if seats remain vacant.
Some Important Rules of NEET PG Counseling 2021

  1. NEET PG Counseling 2021 for 50% of All India Quota seats will be conducted as per total 4 rounds AIQ Round-1, AIQ Round-2, AIQ Mopup Round and AIQ Stray Vacancy.
  2. After the completion of two rounds of counseling, the vacant seats will be filled through AIQ Mopup Round and AIQ Stray Vacancy.
  3. Students will get the facility of fresh registration in counseling only in the first three rounds.
  4. Students will be given a chance to upgrade the seat in the first round only.
  5. The candidates who have already joined the seat in the first two rounds or subsequent counseling will not be allowed to leave the seat or participate in the next counselling.
Keep these documents ready

  1. Neet admit card
  2. NEET 2021 Score Card with NEET Score Rank
  3. Class 10th mark sheet for proof of age.
  4. 12th class mark sheet
  5. A valid identity card - such as Aadhar, Voter ID etc.
  6. MCC allotment certificate
  7. MBBS mark sheet
  8. MBBS degree certificate
  9. internship certificate
  10. Caste ID (if applicable)
  11. Disability certificate (if applicable)

Students can register themselves for the counseling process by following the easy guidelines given below.

  1. Students firstly visit the official website of MCC, mcc.nic.in.
  2. Now go to the News & Events section appearing on the home page.
  3. Click on the link related to registration for NEET PG counseling 2021 appearing here.
  4. Now you will go to a new page.
  5. Now enter the required information and register yourself.
  6. Now login through your ID and Password.
  7. Now enter all the necessary information being asked for registration and fill the application form by uploading the required documents.
  8. Pay the application fee and click on submit button.
  9. Download your application form and take a print out of it for further need.
