On Tuesday, the second trading day of the week, the stock market opened on the green mark recovering from the sluggishness of the previous day. The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensex opened with a gain of 254 points at 57,875, while the National Stock Exchange's (NSE) Nifty index opened at 17,290 with a gain of 76 points.

At the start of the market, about 1373 shares rose, 498 shares declined and 66 shares remained unchanged. During this, Maruti Suzuki, Tata Steel, JSW Steel, Hindalco Industries and Hero MotoCorp were the major gainers on Nifty, while Divis Labs, HDFC, Nestle India, Britannia Industries and SBI Life Insurance opened with decline.

On Monday, the stock market opened on the red mark on the last trading day and continued to trade in the fall throughout the day. Throughout the day, both the indexes of the market were seen on the red mark and finally closed with a fall. While the Sensex slipped 1024 points, it came down to 58 thousand and closed at the level of 57,621. On the other hand, Nifty also fell below 17,300 and closed at 17,213 with a fall of 303 points. Let us inform that during the trading, the Sensex had broken up to 1400 points on Monday, while the Nifty had broken up to 333 points. Due to this strong fall, investors had to bear a loss of about Rs 3 lakh crore.
