China News: Bullet train is being discussed all over the world. India is also moving rapidly in this direction. China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation (CRRC) has developed a maglev train that not only runs at twice the speed of a bullet train, but also travels floating in the air. This train is on its way to becoming the world's fastest train, with a maximum speed of up to 600 kilometers per hour.

Exhibit in Beijing: A new revolution

This train was spectacularly displayed in Beijing at the 17th Modern Railway Exhibition. The specialty of this train is that it does not have wheels. It is based on magnetic force (magnetic levitation), due to which it floats in the air above the track. Its design is so advanced that it can run many times faster than the speed of wind. Its interior shown in the exhibition is also state-of-the-art and attractive, which gives passengers an experience of comfort and technical excellence.

Maglev Train: Wonder of Technology

Maglev means magnetic levitation. This technology uses magnetic force, which makes the train float along the track without any friction. In conventional trains, the speed is limited due to the friction between the wheels and the track, but Maglev trains do not have this problem. Due to less friction, these trains not only achieve high speed, but are also better in energy efficiency and maintenance.

Beijing to Shanghai: 1200 km in two and a half hours

According to CRRC, the first phase of this maglev train is ready. It will be tested before its commercial use. According to Shanghai news site The Paper, this train will connect major cities in addition to China's existing railway network. For example, this train will cover the distance of 1200 km between Beijing and Shanghai in just two and a half hours at a speed of 600 km / h. Currently, high-speed trains take about five and a half hours to cover this distance.

Alternative to airplanes

According to CRRC senior engineer Shao Nan, this maglev train will reduce the gap between airplanes and high-speed rail within a radius of 2000 kilometers. It is not only fast, but also safe and noise-free. Due to superconducting electric high-speed magnetic levitation technology, this train runs without any friction, which will also reduce maintenance costs.

Automated train equipped with AI and 5G

This maglev train will be fully automated. It will have 5G communication, AI video capture, and various types of sensors, which make it even smarter. This train is not only fast, but also technologically advanced, which will give passengers a completely new experience.

History of Maglev in China

China has taken significant steps in maglev technology before. In the year 2003, the first maglev line was started in Shanghai with the assistance of Germany, which connected Pudong International Airport to the city. This was followed by the launch of domestic maglev lines in Changsha in 2016 and Beijing in 2017. However, the speed of these trains was limited to 120 km/h. The new maglev train is a revolutionary step in this field.

Future: 1000 km/h

China tested the Maglev Hyperloop project last year, which is designed to reach speeds of 1000 kilometres per hour. This technology uses magnetic propulsion systems in low-pressure vacuum tubes. Although the project is still in the experimental stage, it gives a glimpse of future transport systems.
