According to media reports, if Botswana makes a deal with the Government of India to buy 'Tejas' fighter jets, then it will be an important step in the direction of exporting arms to the Government of India. Botswana looking to replace old fighter jets with 'Tejas'

For this, Botswana had also shown interest in South Korea's fighter jet, but Botswana has liked the features of the Indian fighter jet 'Tejas'.
