Indian Cricket Team: After T20 World Cup 2024, Team India is looking for a new head coach. Actually, at present Rahul Dravid is the head coach of Team India, but his tenure is till June. In such a situation, Team India is already looking for a head coach, so that the right person can be selected for this post in time. Meanwhile, former Australia coach and Lucknow Super Giants head coach Justin Langer has ruled himself out of the race to become the next head coach of India and has said that this is the biggest job in the world and while he will be the head coach of Australia's Men's National Cricket Team, When he was in this position for the team, his wish had been fulfilled.

The BCCI had earlier this week officially issued a request for applications to fill in for the post of India head coach, setting a deadline of May 27. Former India captain and current India head coach Rahul Dravid has informed the BCCI that he will not seek extension of his tenure. The new head coach of the Indian men's team will be for all three formats and will hold the post from July 2024 to December 2027.

What did Langer say?

Langer said in the press conference after Lucknow's 18-run win over Mumbai Indians on Saturday that being the head coach of the Indian cricket team would be almost the biggest job in cricket because of the sheer volume of cricket and the huge expectations. It will be a great challenge, it will be a lot of fun. It would be a great opportunity to win an ICC title, but with all these things going on, the timing has to be right.

Being the coach of Team India is a big responsibility

Langer, who coached Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL this year, said that I worked with the Australian cricket team for almost four years. it's enough for me. It is tiring and I think someone like Rahul Dravid will probably tell you the same thing, Ravi Shastri will tell you the same thing. The pressure of victory on the Indian team is very high. So I'm sure the next person to get the job will be really looking forward to this project.
